Letter from one of the neighborhood children’s mom. Yet unbelievably I am not allowed to see my own son .

This is our new house. Child C has not seen it yet. CAS promised me that if I moved they would transfer the case to our new area. This promise is on tape. So I moved. Then the CAS refused to transfer. The law was on my side for the transfer as the law states that if it is an inconvenience the case can be transferred. Judge Roberson refused to let this be transferred as she stated it was not an inconvenience. For the courts maybe, but I have to drive all day to get there, sleep in my car, go to court than drive back. When ever they let me see my son for the hour and half heavily supervised visit I will have to drive two days and spend one night sleeping in my car to see him.

The psychologist who assessed child C stated that, “If he does not return home, C would be better served in a foster home rather than a group home. C finds the group home stressful.” This is after of course CAS and the court appointed child lawyer has repeatedly told the court how well C is doing in the group home, how happy and well adjusted he is. It really doesn’t matter to the court that they lied. Any way with this report in front of the court now, what the CAS did was rush C into a foster home. The foster house is very tiny and decrepit looking. The foster dad is around 26 years old and works as an occasional farm laborer. His dad sells fish bait. The foster mom works part time part of the year. They could not afford air conditioning during the heat wave. They could not afford a computer or internet, that is until they got there money for fostering C. The CAS has lowered my son’s standard of living, The CAS has totally financially drained child C’s family, but helps financially unstable people care for C.

This is the foster Home the Kingston CAS rushed child C into, so that they may look good in court after records were submitted that C found the group home to stressful.
